Hello Dear Readers

I'm happy to be getting back in touch with you after a long break from blogging. Due to my excess of exam times, I have not been posting. But even with this break, I continued to develop as a person. I'm currently concentrating on my "Current Issues in English Language Teaching" course.

We focused on the usage of the terms "said" and "told" in reported speech for our homework with my peer Afra and her blog is here if you would like to take a look. Dealing with grammar rules and the nuances of language requires an understanding of the subtle differences between the two and the ability to articulate them effectively. We used a "corpus," which is a resource with significant data sets for linguistic research, to gather information on this topic and better understand how language is actually used in everyday life.

We researched academic papers, grammar handbooks, and instances current language use while preparing for our task We created our own understanding using these materials, and then we used what we learned into our task. We gained a greater understanding of the nature and application of language by adopting a perspective that was centered on the evolution and change of language.

Here is our project that we did on the difference between said vs. told in reported speech. I hope everyone loves it.

Thank you for being part of this adventure. I look forward to our future explorations together.
