THE END OF ANOTHER ERA

Hello dear readers,

In this post, I will say goodbye to you again for a short while. First of all, I have to say that we have left behind a very fun and beautiful semester. The assignments I did during this semester was for the Current Issues course and it managed to add a lot to me.

The lecture had a lot of important points, but I don't see anything where it was missing. If we look at what this course has contributed to us, as a teacher candidate, we can see how far we can take our classroom as a result of understanding technology and integrating it correctly into the classroom. I can say that one of the things that made the course difficult was the abundance of homework.

While my favorite task throughout the entire semester was preparing "AI Integrated Teaching Material", the task we had the most difficulty doing was the Corpus-based Teaching Material assignment, because it became very difficult for us to understand the assignment due to the lack of face-to-face classes that week.

I don't have any advice to give to the instructor who teaches the course, because although she is one of the most successful instructors, she is also very good at maintaining the flow of the course. Only having homework every week had a slightly negative effect on our ability to spare time for other courses, but other than that, there is nothing to say.

And what I will say to the students who will take this course next year is this: You are very lucky and you should appreciate it!

I believe that I have improved a lot as a new teacher candidate after taking this course. At the beginning of my student life in this department, I did not have much knowledge or experience about technology and integrating technology into the course. However, thanks to our instructor, I can say that rather than using technology as a teacher in the future, I see the benefits of using technology in the lesson as a student. As an extra, I learned to use many applications!
