Hello everyone,

For today's post, I am going to talk about my latest assignment. It was about a flipped classroom, We created a video for our assignment with my peer Afra (you can check her blog out here). A flipped class (view image) inverts the typical cycle of content acquisition and application so that: students gain necessary knowledge before class, and. instructors guide students to actively and interactively clarify and apply that knowledge during class.

What we did in the first step is was to choose our topic for the video and we chose simple past tense. After that we prepared a video from Canva and we recorded a voice memo for the video. Then, we edited our voice recording according to the video. Our video was ready and we uploaded it to YouTube. You can watch the video by clicking here.

By inverting the traditional model, where students absorb content during class time and apply it at home, the flipped approach cab empower the students to take ownership of their learning. This method not only fosters students deeper understanding of the subject matter but also lets them improve themselves on critical thinking and problem-solving skills. While challenges may arise, the overall impact of the flipped classroom technique on student engagement and comprehension is undeniably profound, marking it as a pedagogical innovation worth embracing.

Enjoy the video! See you in the next post!
