PADLET TASK

Hello, my dear readers! Today i am going to write about a tool which is useful for learning and teaching in the classroom.

Padlet is a web 2.0 tool for collaborative activities by creating digital boards. In addition to being a very easy to use, Padlet is also a tool that helps to increase the interaction between students through cooperation. Padlet can be called the 21st century version of the board that used to be used in classrooms, on which we hang things with pins. Imagine a version of this board on the computer screen that students can enter and edit at any time. If you want to make a lecture or presentation with your students interactively and in which they are actively involved, Padlet is just for you!

Let me tell you about my own Padlet experience. We formed a group of 4 people; Servet, Furkan, Afra and me. Than we chose one of the topics our teacher gave us to choose, created a wall in Padlet and created a KWL chart. All members of the group wrote down what they knew about the subject, what they wanted to know, and what they learned. After completing the assignment, we had more information on the subject. I think the benefits of this assignment were; enabling the student to brainstorm, providing analytical thinking, providing critical thinking etc.
